Participants

The Job Forums welcomes all job seekers who are serious and committed to finding the next great job. The Job Forum is a professional job search forum, so the majority of our participants have a college (or other advanced degree) and/or previous career experience. However, we welcome job seekers of all ages, skill levels and states of their careers.

Who Should Come to the Job Forum?

Are you a Bay Area Resident looking for a job? Are you new to the area and seeking employment? Are you changing careers, or seeking to improve your career? Do you have a specific set of questions or job goals you’d like to fine-tune? If you answered YES to any of these questions – and you are serious about your job search – we encourage you to attend the Job Forum.

Who should NOT come to the Job Forum?

The Job Forum is not the appropriate service for individuals seeking counseling and guidance related to immigration and/or job-related medical issues. While we discuss a wide range of topics, we do not address those that are better handled by an attorney or physician, nor are we are experts in immigration issues.

The Job Forum is very supportive but is not intended to be an ongoing “ support group;” instead we encourage job seekers to implement the job search process suggestions we make and get going to take action and find their next job!
