“I went to several Job Forum meetings and the advisors really opened my mind to all that I could do right away.
This led me to take these work-related next steps
I realized I could use my sales skills…
- To do project work and contract work and immediately I had success in that.
- I heard about brand ambassador work, and I started registering as available for that (with 360 Promotion, Backstage).
- The Job Forum advisors suggested to join groups (Facebook or LinkedIn) and I joined the brand ambassador one and another one and have had more project work that way.
These ideas from The Job Forum allowed me to get some work right away, while I looked for a next company to join.

LinkedIn’s latest features, customizing your resumes, becoming a consultant, working with a career coach and the many sessions in the career series -on careers in various industries ( eg. Careers in Biotech, or Tech, or Cybersecurity, or HR and more).
- Job search nowadays is exhausting, emotional, messy, discouraging and isolating. The Job Forum volunteers are very encouraging and going to the events helps you to pick yourself up and try again. You do need that human help! They help you to be able to succeed.
