The Job Forum Planning Committee
Recently The Job Forum Planning Committee has been working on the plans for 2025 programs and priorities.
The Job Forum is fortunate to have an active set of volunteers who come together with our Executive Director and contribute to the strategies of The Job Forum non-profit organization.
You might like to know a bit about the terrific volunteers who are on the committee: Roger Brooks, Kathy Mark, Melissa Pera, Sakura Huang, Don Siler, Kathy Knudson, and Bill Pollak.
Roger Brooks: Marketing Research Consultant & Strategist and Vice Chairman of The Job Forum. Roger consults via his consultancy practice, Research and Marketing Strategies. He has over 25 years diverse marketing research experience, ranging from consulting to senior management positions with leading digital and social media, technology, marketing research, and startup organizations.
Kathy Mark: Professional Training & Coaching Executive at SFO.
Kathy is an IT Project Director at the SFO Airport, and an IT professional. As a Project Director for City and County of San Francisco at the Airport Commission, Kathy is involved in deploying enterprise-wide property management and billing systems, a Project Management Office (PMO) and a suite of business portfolio training programs.
Melissa Pera: Market Manager at Lucid Motors. She has spent her career in client facing management and sales roles from working at global companies like Turner Broadcasting, MTV, Prada, Giorgio Armani to working in smaller niche employers like the Aspen Ski Company and a modern art gallery.
Sakura Huang: Business Analyst, Equinix. Sakura is currently a Business Analyst specializing in Knowledge Management and
Collaboration at Equinix, supporting global operations teams keeping data centers running.
Don Siler: Senior Program Manager at Bridge Light Consulting. He is a former US Army Staff Sergeant, Intelligence Analyst, Cryptographer, and Arabic Linguist. He is also The Job Forum Outreach Manager and a longtime volunteer.
Kathy Knudson: a Career Counselor, Career Coach and Therapist. Kathy is a longtime panelist with The Job Forum. She originally came to volunteer after having been a job hunter who attended Job Forum sessions in order to make a successful career pivot.
Bill Pollak: Founder and Managing Principal of Itineris Financial Advisors, which provides personal financial planning and investment management services. Bill Is the Director of Events for The Job Forum and has been a Job Forum panelist since 2010.
